Chuck Gallo
Head Coach 1972-1973
Chuck Gallo coached at Servite from 1972-1973. This was really the beginning of the Angelus league powerhouse days, almost rivaling the current Trinity league. The league members included St. Paul, Servite, Bishop Amat, Pius X and St. Anthony. Final league standings usually followed in that order as well, with Servite and Amat swapping 2nd every couple of years.
While only coaching at Servite for two years, Coach Gallo's teams made the playoffs both years, compiling a record of 15-5-1, with two 2nd place finished. His season records were 7-3-0 and 8-2-1 respectively. Two of the five losses came at the hands of St. Paul, who was the king of the hill in the 70s and early 80s.

Coach Gallo left Servite but ended up coaching at Mater Dei in 1984 for a five year stint. While at Mater Dei he compiled a 32-24 record. Coach Gallo is the only coach who has coached at both Servite and Mater Dei. Coach Gallo was preceded by George Dena and succeed by Ken Visser.
